Aquaculture – There are different culture practices in aquaculture (e.g. cage culture, earthen ponds, artificial holding vats and units. There are different culture environments (e.g. marine, brackish and fresh water). There are also various cultured species (e.g. finfish, shell fish etc.) which have different dietary requirements.
Recommendations:
- Not all aquaculture fish require the use of fish meal, therefore there should be categorised understanding of aquaculture.
- There should be inclusion of relevant information on general aquaculture
- There should be the creation of awareness of the positive areas of aquaculture practices in developing countries.
